In 2005, Governor Rick Perry appointed Bob Reeves to serve on the Sabine Compact Commission. The commision consists of two members from Texas apppointed by the Governor of Texas, two members from Lousiana appointed by the Governor of Louisiana, and one member appointed by the President of the United States.
Bob Reeves is a farm/ranch landowner and tree farmer and a member of Farm Bureau.
